Wolayo Sharon is 8 years old and both of her parents have passed away. She and her 3 younger brothers live with their grandmother. Sharon’s grandmother has a garden of corn and beans, but it does not produce enough food to feed the entire family. When the family runs out of food they are forced to pick in the rubbish. When Sharon gets home from school she cleans the house, works in the garden, and helps bathe her baby brothers.
