Nankwanga Joyce is 11 years old and she has 2 older sisters and 1 younger sister. Joyce’s mother and older sister are both HIV positive, and her father died from AIDS when she was only 3 years old. When Joyce gets home from school, she does her homework and then she helps her mother wash the dishes. She eats lunch at school and only sometimes has one other meal a day. Joyce hopes to be a doctor someday.
